Refreshing Ice Tea Recipe

Just because it is the start of summer does not mean that you cannot enjoy a fresh glass of your artisan loose teas. They are great cold as well!  Here is a recipe from one of our customers that is sure to cool you off on these hot summer days

Summer ICE TEA Sparkler

4 oz of your favorite artisan tea

2 oz of sparkling water with lemon

1 fresh mint leaf sprig

Brew a cup of your favorite loose leaf tea. After steeping, place tea into a chilled 10 oz tumbler or wine glass that is filled with ice cubes. Add your sparkling water and mint sprig. It is that easy - refreshing , no calorie, with a little bit of pick me up on those hot days - ENJOY!

Benefits of Green Tea

Made solely with the leaves of the “camellia sinesis” plant, green tea undergoes minimal oxidation. Originating from China, green tea is very common across the countries. The tea gets its name from the color of the liquid after it is brewed. The natural flavor of the leaf stands out. Flavor wise, green tea can range from a floral flavor to almost a grassy flavor.
